Hillsides Kong
Color: Golden Tipped Steel
Sire: Smith's S1
Dam: Hillside's Gat
Born: April 2006
Winnings: 2/10 Sr. Solid Buck
Hillside's Kong is a massive buck. He has very strong shoulders, loin and hindquarter and amazing bone. He peaks a little late which gives him a flatter shoulder and chopped hindquarters. He has excellent width to his head and muzzle. He has good placement and substance to the ears and crown. He could use a bit more width to his crown to balance. He has a very nice steel color to his coat and very good density. He is 50% Smith's bloodlines, 35% Hillside's bloodlines and 15% C.C. bloodlines. He has chestnut agouti, chinchilla, steel, blue and lynx in his linage. Thankyou Patsy Butcher! |

Posey's Austin
Color: Chestnut Agouti
Sire: Velotta's Sam
Dam: Velotta's Tippy
Born: March 2007
Winnings:
Registered
Posey's Austin is a new addition to the rabbitry from Sunnybrook Rabbitry on Vancouver Island. Austin has amazing depth of body. He has a very nice topline with a good loin. He is a very busy guy, he wouldn't even sit still for a photo!*laugh* He hasn't filled out yet in the shoulder and lower hindquarters, I suspect because of his athletic nature. He has very good width to the crown and good placement of ears. He is showing fullness in the muzzle. He has excellent texture to his coat and a very nice chestnut color. He has about 40% Velotta lines, 25% Kitsemble's line and the remaining 35% is a mixture of C.C., Love a Little, Vail and Horizon bloodlines. There is chestnut agouti, black, opal, steel, and chinchilla in his linage. Thank you Cristina Posey! |

Smith's Paddy
Color: Broken Black
Sire: Smith's Tiger
Dam: Smith's B1
Born: August 2005
Smith's Paddy is a new addition to the rabbitry from Hillside's Rabbitry out of Washington. He has a very nice compact body type with lots of mass. He has good depth, nice loin and well filled in the lower hindquarter. He has a big bold head, nice crown and good substance to his ears. I can not find many faults except maybe lack of texture and density of coat. Paddy Is 90% Smith's bloodlines with Love a Little, IGM's and Lizmark's bloodlines in the great grand parent generations. He has chestnut agouti, sable and silver steel, black, blue and fawn in his background. Thankyou Patsy Butcher! |

Mitchell's Rosco
Color: Tri-colored Orange/Black/White
Sire: Mitchell's Pebbles
Dam: Mitchell's Dizzy
Born: February 2008
Winnings:
Mitchell's Rosco is a F1X backcross. This was done to increase genetic diversity. Rosco is a little buck weighing only 4.08 lbs as a senior. He has a very short compact body. His shoulders start right at the nape of his neck. He needs more depth and hindquarter but his small size allows me to use him on bigger animals without exceeding the max. weight range of 6.08lbs in his offspring. I plan to use him to outcross to more massive does. Rosco has a nicely shaped head with lots of curvature. His ears and crown are good but his crown is a bit slipped. He has 9/14 ancestors with the tri-colored gene. |
